Latest Leather Craftsmen Sample Wedding Albums

We wanted to share some of our latest studio sample albums. Below are samples of our hybrid matted style albums (larger ones) and our magazine style (medium) and finally our matted parents albums (small). Since 2004 we have used Leather Craftsmen albums exclusively. Each year we select some of our favorite client’s albums to show off our most recent work. In fact we are very fortunate that one of these albums was chosen by our regional representative and is currently on display at 2012 photographic conventions and conferences. Thanks again David Willis for all your help and encouragement throughout the years.

On April 18, 2012 the Houston Chapter of the National Association of Catering Executives is hosting their 6th Annual Wedding Trends Event. And for the sixth year in a row D. Jones Photography will be the primary event photographers. Greater Houston area public interested in seeing what some of the finest event professionals in Houston can produce are welcome to attend.

Pinterest Pin It Button Now Available

We have had several vendors and clients inquire about wanting to use our images on their Pinterest boards. While we are still evaluating creating our own account, we have added the Pin It button to our blog. So you can now utilize our images from over 600 blog posts that we have created over the past four years. The button is located at the end of each post when you click on the “View Full Post” link. We love to hear from our clients and vendors and appreciate any and all feedback. Go ahead, pin away, you know you wanna!

You may notice that many of our engagement sessions are created at Hermann Park. Not only is it a central location for us and our clients, it contains such a great variety of options for sessions. Often many of our clients are surprised to see this much of the park for the first time and what it has to offer. That being said, here are the images of Liz, Tyler and Harlow! We look forward to covering their wedding this summer.

Michael + Scott wedding

We headed to Beaumont recently to cover Michael and Scott’s wedding. The ceremony was held at the amazingly beautiful St Anthony Cathedral Basilica accompanied by the Fort Bend Boys Choir. The reception immediately followed just across from the church in an impressive tent on the grounds by Aztec. The day of was wonderfully coordinated by Allison Butcher with Keely Thorne Events. Floral arrangements, bouquets and all of the furniture were provided by Events in Bloom.

Following a honeymoon to Australia, the couple will reside in Houston.

What a beautiful afternoon for Kim and Beau’s engagement session at Hermann Park. They brought along their Schnauzers for some of the “family” portraits. This couple is crazy fun and I am certain that their June wedding will be equally as entertaining.
