David R. Jones,

D. Jones Photography possesses a rich and genuine love for people that allows his clients to respond with natural ease. Although known for a forte in wedding photography and social events, his passion for fine art photography is gaining recognition throughout the Southwest.The
Professional Photographers of America recognized David with an exhibition in the
International Loan Collection and the prestigious
Fuji Masterpiece Award. In
2005 he was awarded
Best Wedding Album of the Year from the
Professional Photographers Guild of Houston. His work is featured in
Innovative Techniques for Wedding Photography, an Amherst Media publication. During his
nineteen-year career, David’s warm personality and professional skills have generated a high demand for special events and portraiture. Adapting to almost any situation or location has gained David commissions throughout
Texas, as well as
Louisiana,
Florida,
New York,
Mexico,
Europe and most recently
Brazil. Our weddings are regularly featured in magazines such as

Modern Luxury’s Houston Brides. The studio also took great honors as being selected as
The Knot Best of Weddings Pick for

2004 Houston’s Intown Chamber of Commerce honored him with
Volunteer of the Year. He is an active member and currently serves on the board of the
Houston Chapter of the
National Association of Catering Executives, and was recipient of the
2009 Spirit of NACE Award as well as the
2010 Kudos Award. For the past eleven years David has served as the only “official” male member of the
Houston Chapter of
Executive Women International which in
2008 he received the coveted
Presidents Award from.
