Houston, Texas Wedding and Portrait Photographer
We photographed Melissa’s bridal portrait back in May at the Junior League of Houston where she is having her wedding reception. She has another photographer from out of state covering her wedding and we were asked to handle her portrait session. She was wonderful to work with and had a great session. Emily and Ben’s wedding was such a blast! These two were married at the Rice University’s Cohen House and it was just gorgeous. The party got started inside afterward as the guests danced the night away to the band Doppelganger. Congratulations!

Omar and Bana wed this past weekend and we were there to capture their intimate reception at the Hotel ZaZa Houston. Flowers and centerpieces provided by Wedding Flowers by Lisa. It was a very lively and beautiful party. The couple will be honeymooning in Vegas.
We had a fantastic time working with this family once again for the last of their three daughter’s weddings. Catherine and Joey chose the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort near Bastrop for their wedding weekend. If you have not visited this place it really is a hidden treasure. Although the original plan was to have the ceremony outdoors the weather decided not to cooperate which worked out well as a portion of the ballroom was beautifully decorated by Wedding Flowers by Lisa. Cakes created by Susie’s Cakes. The weekend festivities were coordinated by Alia with Belle of the Ball while entertainment was provided by the Newsboyz.
Following a honeymoon in Mexico, the couple will continue to reside in the Houston.

We first met Catherine when we photographed her sister’s wedding back in 2009. It is now Catherine’s turn and doesn’t she look amazing? These were taken in early November at Las Velas (formerly Paraiso Maravilla). Her bouquet was provided by Wedding Flowers by Lisa. Lindsay and Andre had one fabulous wedding! The entire affair, which the couple had help planning with Natalie at Belle of the Ball, was held at the Omni Riverway. The ceremony was held poolside as the weather was perfect and then they danced the night away upstairs to the sounds of the band Doppelganger.
Being both avid golfers it was quite appropriate for Cathy and David to be married overlooking a beautiful course. As with their engagement and bridal portraits, we covered the ceremony and reception at Royal Oaks Country Club. The weather was amazing for the outdoor ceremony while the views were equally as wonderful from the ballroom. Event coordinations was handled wonderfully by Alia Rdissi of Belle of the Ball while flowers and decorations were provided by Wedding Flowers by Lisa. Video coverage of the event by Sweet Spirit Productions. The amazing cakes were created by Susie’s Cakes. Following a honeymoon in Hawaii the couple will continue to reside in the Houston area.

We photographed Cathy’s bridal portrait back in the scorching 100 degree plus heat of August. Fortunately we started off indoors at Royal Oaks Country Club. There are some fantastic options at the club but as the bride is an avid golfer she really wanted some outdoor images on the course. A nice late afternoon breeze coming across the pond actually made it bearable and as it neared sunset I noticed the cloud patterns emerging and decided to wait it out. The patience certainly paid off with this unbelievable rich sunset.

Lindsey and Matt’s wedding last Saturday was stunning! I had the fortune to work with Natalie of Belle of the Ball and she and Lindsey put together the prefect wedding. We started out at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in the museum district and then headed over to the Junior League of Houston for the reception. Everything was really just beautiful and I could not have asked for a nicer, more perfect couple to work with. Thanks so much for letting me capture your big day!

We covered the wonderful wedding for Rebecca and Boone recently at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church with a reception following in the Grande Ballroom at the Houstonian Hotel. It really is a fantastic love story that begins with the couple meeting in junior high on swim team at the Houstonian. Wedding Flowers by Lisa provided the lovely floral arrangements, bouquets, decorations and linens while Bright Star Productions added that perfect touch to room lighting and the monogram on the dance floor. Susie’s Cakes created the delicious bride and groom’s cakes. The events were expertly coordinated by Valerie Eissler of Belle of the Ball while The Pictures Band entertained the guests throughout the evening. Following a honeymoon in Colorado the couple will reside in Houston.
