Lauren + Copeland wedding

Once again we had another fantastic wedding for Lauren and Copeland. The ceremony was held at St Martins Episcopal Church with a reception at Houston Country Club. The festivities were coordinated by Jennifer Hobson with Keely Thorne Events, which included two bands, the first set by Louis Crapitto and the Cowboy Jazz Band followed by Eclipse for the remainder of the evening. The cakes were created by Marlene Romero while flowers were courtesy of Wedding Flowers by Lisa. Lighting by Bright Star Productions and a two piece jazz ensemble to end the night by Leo Polk.

The car for the departure was especially important to the the family as Lauren’s father had it recently restored. This same MG was owned by the brides father when her parents went on their first blind date. How special is that?!

Kate + Jonathan wedding

Kate and Jonathan were married recently at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church on Woodway with a reception following at Brennan’s of Houston. The reception had a French influence and quite a few personal details, such as a having the heart shaped cake baked by Bobbie’s Cake Creations in a family heirloom cake tin that had been in the family for well over 100 years. Florals were designed by Jonathan Sage. Entertainment for the evening was provided by local band, Commercial Art. The wedding was coordinated by Charity Lykins Events.

Wedding Flowers by Lisa provided the lovely floral arrangements, bouquets, decorations and linens while Bright Star Productions added that perfect touch to room lighting and the monogram on the dance floor. Susie’s Cakes created the delicious bride and groom’s cakes. The events were expertly coordinated by Valerie Eissler of Belle of the Ball while The Pictures Band entertained the guests throughout the evening. Sarah’s wedding

Sarah and her fiancee were wed this Saturday at the always impressive St. Martin’s Episcopal Church accompanied by the Houston Children’s Chorus. The reception followed at the Junior League of Houston with entertainment by the Fried Ice Cream Band.

Event coordination was handled wonderfully by Kristin Cogan with Keely Thorne Events. The bride even created the decorations for the candy stations which went over extremely well. To end the evening the couple was showered with fall leaves and departed in an antique 1953 Cadillac presidential stretch limousine.
