We recently covered an event at the Petroleum Club of Houston honoring David Williams, CEO of Noble Corporation. The Massachusetts Maritime Academy named Mr. Williams as the Maritime Person of the Year for 2013. Some of the current cadets were also on hand to provide music as well as their color guard. The evening’s entertainment was provided by Larry Gaitlin who everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
We had the pleasure of covering Amanda and Ryan’s wedding which both the ceremony and reception were held at the Petroleum Club of Houston. There were so many amazing details that were coordinated by Jo Ann with Schwartz & Woodward. The cake was created by Who Made the Cake! while lighting was provided by Bright Star Productions. Linens were supplied by Elegant Beginnings and the florals were from Wedding Flowers by Lisa. DJU handled the entertainment for the evening.

We were brought in recently to cover some of the details and behind the scenes of the Houston Chapter of Les Amis d’Escoffier Houston Annual Event held this year at the Petroleum Club of Houston. This yearly event is an amazing collection of food and wine enthusiasts that features a truly remarkable menu as well as inductions and other awards. This year’s prized award was being given to Manuel Morfin, the Executive Chef at the Petroleum Club.
We covered Erin and Forbes wedding this past weekend at the magnificent St Martin’s Episcopal Church followed by a formal dinner reception at the Petroleum Club of Houston. Flowers provided by Houston Flowery while the cake was created by Cakes by Gina.

Petroleum Club Holiday Train Decorations
This is the second wedding we have covered for this wonderful family. We first worked with them at Lindsey and Ryan’s wedding in 2008. This year was the celebration for Jill and Nick at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church accompanied by the St Paul’s Choir. This is always the perfect touch for a wedding at one of our favorite churches since I began photographing weddings back in the early 90′s. The reception followed at the Petroleum Club of Houston which has one of the best unobstructed views of downtown Houston. The delicious cakes were provided by Susie’s Cakes while floral and room decor courtesy of Darryl and Company. Fried Ice Cream entertained the guests throughout the evening.

From time to time several of our preferred venues call on us to create images specific to their advertising needs. This installment is for the Petroleum Club of Houston, which wanted to update some of their room shots as well as food shots of their annual wine dinner they were hosting that evening. And to top it off they also provided some amazing cakes to feature the work of their pastry chef Eunice.

We were recently asked to cover the Mardis Gras party for the members of the Petroleum Club of Houston. As with any Mardis Gras party there was fantastic Cajun food, outfits, parasols, beads, King Cakes and dancing.
