We recently had the pleasure of meeting with the girls of Sicily Eason, a custom design studio that specializes in letter press printing. Laura was in art geek heaven as the have their own antique letter press, do their own screen printing and all kinds of fun stuff! This week’s installment is with Katie Hackedorn, proprietor and creative force behind Katie & Co., that awesome stationary shop on the Washington Avenue strip. The store has been open for about one and a half years and carries such notable brands as Spark, Dauphine Press, Crane and Co., and The Happy Envelope.
We don’t usually get to meet the people who make wedding invitations, programs and all of the cool paper products that go into weddings, but this does not mean that we do not appreciate them! We had driven by the store quite a few times and seen Katie at the Weddings in Houston bridal soiree, so we thought we would give her a buzz for our weekly feature.
