We celebrated the wedding of Shannon and Dylan at St Paul’s United Methodist Church with a reception following at the Hotel ZaZa Houston. The days events were coordinated by Jennifer Hobson of Keely Thorne Events. while the floral arrangements and bouquets courtesy of Flora Bella Designs. Entertainment for the evening was provided by the Grady Gaines Band and the cakes were created by Susie’s Cakes & Confections.

This last weekend we covered Haley and Matthew’s wedding at St John the Divine and River Oaks Country Club. The events were wonderfully coordinated by Emily Moise of Keely Thorne Events while entertainment for the evening was by the band Eclipse. Decorations and flowers provided by Wedding Flowers by Lisa and cakes were created by Who Made the Cake! Also on hand were 31 films to document the festivities. The couple were both graduates of the Kinkaid School as well as the University of Texas.

We had a fantastic time back in June creating Haley’s bridal portraits. We worked at River Oaks Country Club where her reception is to be held as well as a couple outdoors at the infamous red door to St John the Divine which is where her ceremony will be.

Once again we had another fantastic wedding for Lauren and Copeland. The ceremony was held at St Martins Episcopal Church with a reception at Houston Country Club. The festivities were coordinated by Jennifer Hobson with Keely Thorne Events, which included two bands, the first set by Louis Crapitto and the Cowboy Jazz Band followed by Eclipse for the remainder of the evening. The cakes were created by Marlene Romero while flowers were courtesy of Wedding Flowers by Lisa. Lighting by Bright Star Productions and a two piece jazz ensemble to end the night by Leo Polk.
The car for the departure was especially important to the the family as Lauren’s father had it recently restored. This same MG was owned by the brides father when her parents went on their first blind date. How special is that?!

February 2013 Weddings in Houston Featured Wedding
So what do a church, a club and a camel have in common? Well if you were a guest at this past weekend’s wedding you would know that Abby and Tim met at Connecticut College where the bride’s mother also attended which happens to have a camel as a mascot. So Abby’s mother decided to surprise everyone with an actual camel on the grounds of the club while the guests arrived. The ceremony was held at First Presbyterian Church with a reception following at the Bayou Club. Expert event coordination handled by Keely of Keely Thorne Events with flowers and decorations by Bergner & Johnson. Entertainment for the evening provided by Doppelganger and the cake was created by Susie’s Cakes. Tenting from Aztec and lighting by Bright Star Productions.
Katy and Skyler were married this weekend at the historic St John Church at Sam Houston Park downtown with the reception following across the street at The Heritage Society. The couple enjoy games and choose large Jenga bricks for their guests to sign in so that they can use their newly personalized pieces. Entertainment for the evening was provided by High Definition band from Dallas and the flower arrangements were designed by Park Flowers. The evening was coordinated by Jennie with Keely Thorne Events and the cakes were created by Susie’s Cakes. Food provided by City Kitchen Catering and lighting courtesy of Bright Star.

We headed to Beaumont recently to cover Michael and Scott’s wedding. The ceremony was held at the amazingly beautiful St Anthony Cathedral Basilica accompanied by the Fort Bend Boys Choir. The reception immediately followed just across from the church in an impressive tent on the grounds by Aztec. The day of was wonderfully coordinated by Allison Butcher with Keely Thorne Events. Floral arrangements, bouquets and all of the furniture were provided by Events in Bloom.
Following a honeymoon to Australia, the couple will reside in Houston.

For New Year’s Eve we covered the wedding of Elene and Mark at La Colombe D’Or. The ceremony was held in the conservatory while the reception followed in the ballroom. Jennifer with Keely Thorne Events handled day of affairs while Events in Bloom provided the floral and ceremony decorations. The cake was created by World Cakes and the evening’s entertainment including a midnight countdown and confetti cannon was coordinated by one of our favorite DJ’s, Damon with PRP Entertainment. Once again we were chosen to be featured in Modern Luxury Houston Brides magazine. In the Fall/Winter 2011 issue we have a wedding that is featured in the Scene Houston Weddings section. We also have two images selected for the Hitched In Houston section as well. The magazine should hit the newsstands soon so keep en eye out for it.

Previous Modern Luxury Houston Brides Featured Weddings
Here are a few images from Brittany and Austin’s rehearsal dinner at Marburger Farms in Round Top, TX. We don’t shoot a lot of rehearsals but this one was a little different and we thought that it would really add to the coverage of their wedding. We started out at the ranch for the wedding rehearsal and then headed over to Marburger for the dinner and toasts. These are always great fun to listen to! The dinner was provided by Party Thyme Catering and they did a fabulous job, the food was absolutely delicious. For desert they had petite fours from Moeller’s Bakery in Bellaire. This place is a Houston institution, and they were so good my mouth is watering just writing about it!
