We covered Aubrie and Randy’s wedding this past weekend at the always accommodating Houstonian Hotel. The ceremony was held outdoors in the meadow while the reception followed in the Grand Ballroom. The events were wonderfully coordinated by Bobbie Asarch while florals, decor and lounge furniture was provided by Darryl & Co. Entertainment for the evening was by the Klockwork band and the bride’s cake was created by Susie’s Cakes.

We had an fantastic time covering Millie and Lawson’s wedding. The ceremony was held at Grace Presbyterian Chapel with a reception following at the Houstonian’s Grand Ballroom. The events were wonderfully smooth due to coordination of Angela Nix. Plants N Petals transformed the ballroom as well as all of the florals while the bride’s cake was provided by Susie’s Cake & Confections. Mortensen Productions were on hand to video the event and entertainment was courtesy of the Eclipse Band.

We had the pleasure of covering Millie and Lawson’s rehearsal dinner which was held in the Juniper Room at the Houstonian Hotel. The festivity was coordinated by Angela Nix while the decorations and flowers were provided by Plants N Petals. The groom’s mother merged the influence from the brides family as well as her love of Audubon books of birds for the evenings theme. To top it off, music was provided by the Zydeco Dots. Video services provided by Richard Mortensen Productions. Perhaps due to one of our cooking stations tripping the hotel’s fire alarm required us to evacuate the ballroom temporarily just as the toasts were to begin. All was well and it just added one more memory to the fantastic wedding weekend for the couple.

Candy and Mark were married on Cinco De Mayo and they threw a big ole party for their family and friends! The wedding started out at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church and then everyone went over to the Houstonian for dinner and dancing after. There were lots of kids, hugs and dancing. Not to mention a a little bit of a Mexican theme for Cinco De Mayo. It was awesome!
Congrats you two!

By the time you read this Candy and Mark will be married, but I just have to say what a fun time we had shooting these bridals! We decided to take advantage of the beautiful overcast day and shoot the images on the grounds of the Houstonian this past Spring.

For our first wedding of the new year we worked with Marisa and Mike. Both the ceremony and reception were held at the Houstonian with final coordination handled by Bobbi Asarch. Floral arrangements and decorations created by Village Flowery while the cake was from Susie’s Cakes. The Works provided the evening’s entertainment.

We recently photographed Marisa’s bridal portraits in the lobby of the Houstonian Hotel. This time of year worked well as there were fewer people after the holidays. Her ceremony and reception is to follow soon which is all at the hotel. Flowers courtesy of Village Flowers

We first met Tanny as a guest at her cousin’s wedding. It turns out that three cousins are wearing the same veil at their weddings this year, two of which we are covering. We photographed her bridals at the Manor House, which is part of the Houstonian property. Flowers were provided by Plants N Petals while assistance was courtesy of her wedding coordinator, Angela Nix.
