Houston, Texas Wedding and Portrait Photographer
I had so much fun shooting Lindsey and Andre’s engagement session! First we went to the Houston Zoo and had a walk around and took a few photos. Andre, being from New York, had never been there before and Lindsey had not been in a while since she lives in Manhattan now. We then headed over to Herman Park for a little bit, when the sun was just getting all warm and glowing. I think we got some beautiful photos there as well. I can’t wait for their wedding in October!
Mary Elizabeth and Robert were such a sweet couple to work with. They first met at a friends Deb ball a few years back and it’s been history ever since. For their engagement session Laura started out at Mary’s parents house which is right next to the Houston Country Club golf course. They wanted to get a couple of photos with their little puggle. We then headed out to the golf course at the club to get some photos of them in the greenery. We got a lot of fun photos and I can’t wait for their wedding in August, I know it is going to be a blast!

Mary Elizabeth + Robert wedding
We photographed Sheridan’s bridal portrait back in March at River Oaks Country Club. We had a great time working together and of special note is the veil, which is her grandmother’s. There are three of the cousins that are getting married this year and each one is utilizing the veil. Out of the three wearing it this year, we are covering two of them. Thanks again to Angela Nix for the referral and assisting the bride and Bergner and Johnson for providing the bridal bouquet.

For Melissa and Jason’s engagement session, Laura headed down to Galveston to get some photos of the couple on the Strand and by the beach. First we started off in the strand area and by the harbor. We then headed over to East Beach, but the breeze from the water got the best of us so we then headed over to some grasses to finish off. Can’t wait for their wedding at the end of the month!

I recently had the opportunity to photograph the engagement session for Mary and Johnny. The couple met which attending Texas Tech University. They chose Hermann Park for its diversity and the weather was amazing, suffice it to say a bit windy at times. We are covering their wedding this July.

I first met Tia through one of my networking groups a few years ago. She is always a charm and such a wonderful person to catch up with. Expecting her second child, Kennedy, in May we were fortunate enough that she had some time to visit us during one of her few days off working for Toyota Center for her maternity session.
Wendy and Mike are active outdoors and had requested a location along Buffalo Bayou that they run and bike along. Naturally I was more than happy to accommodate their request. They were such troopers that we trekked the entire loop from Sabine Street to Studemont as I suggested trying to capture some on the new pedestrian bridges that had just opened. As you can see they were easy to work with and I look forward to capturing their wedding in October.

I first met Elena when I was teaching a workshop on toy camera photography. She also loves photography, so i was very pleased she asked me to take her families portraits. Her mother was also visiting from Moscow so it was a good time to get her whole family together. We chose Herman Park because we wanted a mix of pretty spring colors and a wild, overgrown winter palette.
We covered Calina and Tommy’s wedding back in 2004 and now are happy to introduce their daughter Brenna. We had a great time catching up with them and playing with Brenna. It may have been a little windy at Hermann Park but otherwise some of the best outdoor session weather we have had in a long time. Enjoy!
