This is such a sweet couple which have dated through high school, college and law school. We are covering Michael and Scott’s wedding next month in Beaumont. While discussing a location for their session it was mentioned that he had proposed to her at the monument at Hermann Park. Naturally there was no need to search any further.

All I can say is “WOW”. You know when everything comes together just perfectly? The perfect couple, the perfect locations and the perfect weather (although it did get a little cool towards the end). Well here you go. Having VERY limited weekends available EVER, especially this December, Caryl and Ron were able to coax me to Austin for their extended engagement session. They chose a few fantastic locations and I added one at the end to take advantage of the beautiful Austin skyline. Tell us what you think!
We first met Catherine and Joey while covering her sister’s wedding back in 2009. Believe it or not, but Joey mentioned to her that night that when they get married that there was no question who was going to photograph their wedding. So nice to hear! So here is a sampling of images that we created for them. Turns our he actually proposed to her at the park. Bonus! We look forward to working with them in early December at Hyatt Lost Pines for the wedding.

We recently photographed the engagement session for Christie and Mark at Discovery Green. It was great to finally meet Mark as covering the engagement session is generally the first time we get to meet and interact with the groom. They were so easy to work with and we look forward to covering their wedding this December.

We covered Mary and Johnny’s wedding recently at The Parador. The flowers and decorations were provided by Wedding Flowers by Lisa while the cakes were created by Cakes by Gina. Following a honeymoon in Costa Rica, the couple will reside in Midland, Texas.

We are covering Marisa and Mike’s wedding next January at the Houstonian. They live in North Carolina and were in town briefly in May for this session at Hermann Park.
Lizzie and Andrew live in San Francisco so we did not have an opportunity to create their engagement portrait until the week of the wedding. They are such an easy going couple and fantastic to work with. This was captured at the home that she grew up in which is also where the ceremony will be held at.

I met with Brittany and Austin the other day to do an engagement session and to have a little walkabout in Hermann Park. First we started out with their adorable pooch. She really was a good girl and very patient with us

They then had a quick change of clothes and we went around the park again, sans dog. I cannot wait until their wedding. It is going to be on Austin’s family ranch out in Round Top and I just know it is going to be something special!

Brittany + Austin rehearsal dinner
I had so much fun shooting Lindsey and Andre’s engagement session! First we went to the Houston Zoo and had a walk around and took a few photos. Andre, being from New York, had never been there before and Lindsey had not been in a while since she lives in Manhattan now. We then headed over to Herman Park for a little bit, when the sun was just getting all warm and glowing. I think we got some beautiful photos there as well. I can’t wait for their wedding in October!
