Houston, Texas Wedding and Portrait Photographer
I first met Brian at his sister Lindsey’s wedding in 2008 then again for his other sister Jill’s wedding last year. Now it is Brian and Michelle’s turn and they are set to be married in June 2013. I headed up to College Station for their fantastic session. We started at Kyle Field at Texas A&M University then on to the park behind the George Bush Presidential Library.

We headed to Galveston for Kara and Ryan’s engagement session. They were such perfect models for me, willing to have fun and play for the camera. It was great! We started out around the Strand area and ended on East Beach, just before some high school bonfire was set to begin. We did not stick around for that, but we had a lot of fun with their four fur babies nonetheless. I can’t wait for their wedding, I know it is going to be such a blast!

All I can say is timing is everything. We had torrential rain that afternoon and was pleasantly surprised that it ending raining a mere 20 minutes before the session at Hermann Park. So we had fantastic, soft overcast lighting during the entire session. Aubrie and Randy also brought along there trusted dog, Benji. So everything worked out well, except that with the aftermath of the storms, Benji, who had just been groomed, was no longer as clean as he had arrived.
Another interesting tidbit is that this is the third engagement session in a row that each couple know each other through school or work. What are the odds? We look forward to covering their wedding in October.

Jennifer was the recipient of our gift certificate recently at the Weddings in Houston bridal show. We met her and her fiancé Jonathan at Hermann Park for their engagement session. We had a brief shower in the middle of the session but were able to continue and wrap it up shortly after. They are getting married this November.
Check out this amazing extended engagement session we did in March for Katy and Skyler at his family’s farm in Brenham. All I can say is wow! This is a fantastic property and we had so many wonderful options to work with. It even timed out just right for the bluebonnets to be in full bloom. We look forward to covering their wedding early this Summer. Enjoy!

Kellen and Trey decided to upgrade to our extended engagement session which includes more time and additional locations and also provides them time make clothing changes. We started off at South Boulevard, then on to Hotel ZaZa to change and photograph around the pool and finally on to Hermann Park to wrap up the evening. We look forward to covering their wedding early this summer.

We recently photographed the engagement session for Rachel and Lawford. They were not sure exactly where they wanted to work but advised that they wanted a location different than the parks we often photograph at. So I advised that we could do a walking tour of the neighborhood that our studio is in as it offers a unique collection of buildings and backgrounds. They were all in, so enjoy a glimpse of our East Montrose neighborhood. We look forward to their destination wedding in Mexico in November.

You may notice that many of our engagement sessions are created at Hermann Park. Not only is it a central location for us and our clients, it contains such a great variety of options for sessions. Often many of our clients are surprised to see this much of the park for the first time and what it has to offer. That being said, here are the images of Liz, Tyler and Harlow! What a beautiful afternoon for Kim and Beau’s engagement session at Hermann Park. They brought along their Schnauzers for some of the “family” portraits. This couple is crazy fun and I am certain that their June wedding will be equally as entertaining.

We first met Millie when she was a bridesmaid at Sheridan and Robert’s wedding in 2011. So it was great to get to know her a little better along with her fiancé Lawson who are getting married this August. We worked with them at Hermann Park for their engagement session, which although a little cool, was still very pleasant.
