Erin’s bridal session

Erin chose the Julia Ideson Library for her bridal session location as she was fascinated with its recent historical preservation and wonderful architecture. This was my first opportunity to have worked there and I must say it is an amazing location for events and sessions. We had a great session and I certainly look forward to working here again in the future.

Aubrie + Randy wedding

We covered Aubrie and Randy’s wedding this past weekend at the always accommodating Houstonian Hotel. The ceremony was held outdoors in the meadow while the reception followed in the Grand Ballroom. The events were wonderfully coordinated by Bobbie Asarch while florals, decor and lounge furniture was provided by Darryl & Co. Entertainment for the evening was by the Klockwork band and the bride’s cake was created by Susie’s Cakes.

Karen + Ian 20th Anniversary Vow Renewal

All I can say is what an amazing couple Karen and Ian are. We recently covered their intimate 20th anniversary vow renewal at Second Baptist Chapel officiated by Dr Ed Young followed by a reception at the Westin Galleria. They were joined by close friends and family as well as their three children for the occasion. Floral decorations provided by Darryl & Co while the cake was created by Susie’s Cakes.

Introducing Molly

We had an amazing afternoon and beautiful weather for our session with two year old Molly and of course her mother Donna. She even brought along her trusted doll and  companion Juno to assist us during the session. We are no stranger to her mother as we worked with her quite a bit in 2007 leading up to her 2008 wedding.

Kara + Ryan engagement

We headed to Galveston for Kara and Ryan’s engagement session. They were such perfect models for me, willing to have fun and play for the camera. It was great! We started out around the Strand area and ended on East Beach, just before some high school bonfire was set to begin. We did not stick around for that, but we had a lot of fun with their four fur babies nonetheless. I can’t wait for their wedding, I know it is going to be such a blast!

In Search of Yelp Reviews

So with the most recent Apple iOS 6 update, Yelp is now the provider of business information for Apple Maps. As a result many businesses are encouraged to create a presence on Yelp to be listed and located properly. Fortunately we have had a listing for several years and have just recently updated it. What we have not been proactive on is building reviews on this platform. We are humbly requesting any current or past clients and event vendors that we work with for honest reviews to build our brand recognition. If you have a Yelp account we would love to hear from you. Feel free to click the link bellow for our listing to add your experience with us. Thank you in advance!

Imagine That! at Texas Heart Institute’s 50th Anniversary Gala

Once again, we were hired to take photos of the beautiful room and decor that Buffy Scott of Imagine That! created for the Texas Heart Institute’s annual gala. This year marked the Institute’s 50th anniversary. While we did not stay to cover the event, I heard that Governor Rick Perry was in attendance and the entertainment for the evening was none other than Lyle Lovett.
