Business is booming in Houston! Here is yet another corporate event we were brought in to cover, this time for Livingston International. Held on the 24th floor of the Westin Galleria Hotel, guests were treated to a presentation which included passed hors d’oeuvres, cheeses and desserts.
Check out this setup for the Child Advocate Ball held at the Bayou City Event Center. Buffy with Imagine That! coordinated the design and setup which included the centerpieces, lighting, linens, decorations as well as the live entertainment.
Here is one of the many OTC events that occurred here in Houston in May. We were brought in by the British publication, Financial Times, to cover this event at the St Regis Hotel.
We were brought in recently to cover the First Solutions Conference hosted by Excelerate Energy at the St Regis Hotel Houston. This event was held a day before the LNG 17 got underway here in Houston.
Sullivan’s Steakhouse of Houston hosted an open house to show off the newly converted Ringside Room to a private function room and invited their clients and those in the events industry to check out the updates and enjoy lunch. They had a great turnout and can better accommodate small to medium size private events in the rooms now.
We recently covered an event at the Petroleum Club of Houston honoring David Williams, CEO of Noble Corporation. The Massachusetts Maritime Academy named Mr. Williams as the Maritime Person of the Year for 2013. Some of the current cadets were also on hand to provide music as well as their color guard. The evening’s entertainment was provided by Larry Gaitlin who everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
IMAGINE THAT! is an event design company that we work with on occasion, hired us to capture their decor for the 2012 SPINDLETOP HOLIDAY BALL at the WESTIN GALLERIA recently. Buffy Scott, the owner and lead designer for Imagine That! did not disappoint. She transformed the ballroom into something out of Santa’s workshop!

One of our long time friends recently took over as the new Director of Catering at the Royal Sonesta Hotel Houston and asked us to update some of the ballroom photographs. It just so happened that the date that worked best was a fantastic corporate holiday event decorated and created by Darryl & Co. The images are from the hotel’s two larger ballrooms the Legends and Discovery.

We were recently brought in to cover an intimate retirement party for the founder of KMG Chemicals held at Philippe Restaurant in the Galleria area. At the end of the evening there was a nice surprise for the retiring executive to use on his ranch.
We were asked to cover some corporate set ups for one of the newer event facilities in the Houston area, the amazing Chateau Cocomar. The catering was provided by Cafe Natalie. If you have not experienced the size and detail of this facility you will be simply amazed. It is great for weddings, corporate events as well as portrait sessions.
