Jill and Patrick were married last weekend at St. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Dubina with a reception following at Ludvik’s Place, a bed and breakfast in Schulenberg.
A few days before the wedding was to take place, Jill had an accident in her back yard and managed to sprain both of her ankles, she is not normally in a wheelchair. However the wedding was still a beautiful success because she and Patrick are such a cool couple.
The church is one of the famous painted churches that abound in Fayette County and was absolutely gorgeous. The reception was held inside a quaint barn on the property of a bed and breakfast. Although it was a little cold and windy that day, the guests all had a blast.
Music was provided by a local accordion player and barbecue was catered in from a place in Schulenberg. The couple chose not to have a traditional wedding cake, but instead decided to have pies from Royer’s Cafe in nearby Round Top (excellent choice!).
And while they did not have a garter and bouquet toss, they did have a pinata (a giant cupcake), which was impossibly hard to crack, but eventually they were able to do it 🙂
Again, such a fun wedding! Congratulations you guys, you are awesome!
